1973 Beetle projet car. Repainted a non-factory light green quite some time ago. Recent rebuilt motor by Foreign Car Werks in Bound Brook [only 100 miles]. Aftermarket steel wheels and a reasonably good interior. The trans may need attention [pops out of third but it could be a shifter coupler], it needs pans and possible heater channels. There are also spots of rust in the body as well [see pictures]. It's a project car, with a little care and a bit of skill, it could easily be turned around. -SOLD-1968 Fastback with a swing axle trans. Daily driver until six weeks ago when the hockey stick in the nose cone of the trans failed. Probably doesn't need a new trans, just the nose cone rebuilt. Solid floor pan with minor soft spots under the battery. Good front end, it needs rocker panels, some work under the gas fill and the floor to the luggage compartment is rusted out from the trunk leaking.Geat tires and the chrome bumpers are in great shape. The car is stuck in first gear and does drive, it will have to be put on a trailer or towed with the rear wheels on a dolly.
