-SOLD- 1972 Super Beetle Convertible Original CA car, this beetle is in great shape and runs strong with no mechanical problems. Garage kept since the move to the East Coast. Seats have been recently reupholstered; top and headliner, windshield, passenger side pan, gas tank and lines have all been replaced in the last few years. Odometer reads 28,800 miles. There is some pitting (cosmetic rust) on the front bumper though no other rust issues, some minor paint flaking in the interior (under the dash), no radio but a pull out stereo and speakers are in the car waiting to be installed. 05/17/07 |

-SOLD-1968 Fastback with a swing axle trans. Daily driver until six weeks ago when the hockey stick in the nose cone of the trans failed. Probably doesn't need a new trans, just the nose cone rebuilt. Solid floor pan with minor soft spots under the battery. Good front end, it needs rocker panels, some work under the gas fill and the floor to the luggage compartment is rusted out from the trunk leaking.Geat tires and the chrome bumpers are in great shape. The car is stuck in first gear and does drive, it will have to be put on a trailer or towed with the rear wheels on a dolly. I have a valid plate and insurance card for the car so it could be AAA towed. Please contact Eric for more details. It would be a shame to see this car get scrapped. 07/06/05 |
